When purchasing the HPC EI Series Round Penta Burner Flat Insert - 36" you will have a choice between two different options that will decide on how much control you will get with your EI System. The first option is the On/Off model - at no extra charge - and allows for quick turn on and off of your insert. The second option is the Variable Flame model, offered at an additional charge and allows for flame control. The Variable Flame model has a 45% turn-down flame that gives you not only the option to control the height of your flame but gives you the option of more or less heat. Both versions make for a great choice as it just depends on the kind of control you would like to have.
